V.I.P. Industries Ltd. the Company hereby provides warranty on all luggage items of Brand “VIP Bags” for the period mentioned on the baggage tag from the date of purchase by the user against any material manufacturing defects only. The warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  1. The user can claim warranty by activating the product e-warranty through the company website www.vipbags.com or through the call center 022-4172-4444. It is mandatory for the product to be e-warranty registered before raising any warranty claim. Please visit your nearest VIP exclusive outlet for further details.

  2. The defective piece must be delivered by the User at his/her/its own cost to the company's nearest service center, as per the details indicated in the service ticket.

  3. This Warranty is not valid for:

  •  Damages resulting from accidents, mishandling, negligence, unauthorized repair, tampering, loss of components/accessories, normal wear and tear, exposure to extreme heat and temperature, solvents, acids and exposure to rain/water.

  • Replacement/repair of briefcase folios and suitcase divider flaps.

  • Powder coating, gold plating, wood finish on locks, frames, channels and on all other metallic surfaces.

  • Damages such as zip bursts, cracks, dents and scratches to any of the components, tearing of inner lining or any other fabric.

  • Damages from mishandling and abuse in transit by the carrier company (Airlines etc.) (if such abuse occurs, one must immediately file a claim with the Carrier Company before leaving the transport terminal)

  • Damages to the leather trimmings and net mesh.

  • Printing aesthetic issues.

  1. The Company will undertake to repair/replace the defective piece within a reasonable period of time, at its own discretion; and its decision as to the nature of the defects and applicability of this Warranty, is final.

  2. In the interest of product upgrading, the Company is free to change its product specifications without notice; and in case spares for given models are not available, the Company may at its discretion, offer an equivalent model.

  3. Any disputes arising out of the applicability/usage warranty are subject to Indian laws having Mumbai jurisdiction only

  4. The Company's liability for damages shall be restricted only up to repair/replacement of the defective piece and in no event and under no circumstances it shall exceed the price paid (after discounts if any) by the customer to the Company for the damaged piece stated in the Invoice/cash memo.

  5. This Warranty excludes every condition/warranty liability not expressly set out herein.

  6. All locks and security mechanisms fitted on the luggage are delaying devices and cannot prevent theft of the contents and luggage.

  7. Besides the aforesaid terms and conditions, for availing the International Warranty, the procedure as mentioned below also needs to be followed by the user to exercise this warranty on the product:

  • To avail of this warranty the user can call the Company's call center number or inform by email at feedback@vipbags.com.

  • The user will have to provide necessary documents including the QR code, invoice (and the photo of the defective piece if physical product is not available for inspection) physically at the service center or by email or fax at the address/fax number that the call center may provide.

  • The piece must be delivered to and collected back from the nearest service center in the country of travel at the user's cost, while the address will be provided by the Company through the call center. In case a repair center is not available, the company, at its own discretion may choose to offer the same or equivalent product at the alternate Indian address of the customer.

  • The Company reserves the right to repair or replace the defective piece as deemed suitable; in case of replacement, the defective piece shall be replaced with another piece of the same model or equivalent model of any of the Company's brands at the Company's discretion.

  • The Company or its representative(s) will undertake to repair or replace the defective parts/piece within a reasonable period of time and its decision as to the nature of defect and the applicability of the warranty is final.

  • In case of service call being raised outside of India in any country which is covered by this warranty and in the case where the Company approves the replacement of the defective piece – the fresh piece will either have to be picked up by the user from the Company's service center or the Company may agree to deliver the same to the user at the address provided by him/her, which should be within the limits of the country from where the service call was originated.

  • In case the Company agrees to deliver the replacement free of cost to the user at the address provided and agreed, the user may be required to deliver the defective piece at its own cost, either before or after receipt of replacement in lieu of the defective piece, to the nearest service center location as may be informed by the Company.

 

Environmental Declaration 

Environment Commitment and Disposal of Luggage:

As a part of our commitment to preserve the environment all the parts of the luggage are made with non hazardous materials and all the parts are 100% recyclable.

Consumers can dispose their used / broken / damaged Luggage within the collection network which is generally handled by local recyclers /scrap handling agents, etc.

Disposing of Collaterals & Packaging of Luggage:

We encourage you to recycle collaterals and packaging as well. As part of our commitment to preserve the environment, we use non hazardous gum / glue in our packaging and the collaterals.

As per The Government of India Notification requirement's you can return the polybag at any VIP lounge / store, refer the instruction on the polybag(s).

Delivery of products

Purchases are shipped from our own or third party warehouses/ stores or offices from various points in India. Our endeavour is to make the products reach you within 7-9 working days (for Metro cities) and 10-15 working days (for Non-Metro cities) from receipt of order and payment depending on the address for delivery.

Order deliveries will be made by our own staff or third party courier and logistics companies or Postal Services usually between 10.30 am – 7 pm Monday –Sunday.

Delivery challan/Invoice attached to the Product upon delivery will be required to be acknowledged and signed by you or any other person at the address mentioned by you at the time of order. We take no responsibility for products signed by any other person other than you who have placed an order for the product.

All claims, if any, for shortages or damages must be reported to customer service on the day of delivery through the contact us page on the web store. Also the said shortage of product needs to be highlighted and signed on the Proof of delivery copy itself and returned to the delivery person.

Delivery Charges

Shipping and handling rates may vary based on product, packaging, size, volume, type and other considerations. The shipping and handling charges are given at the time of check out and consumers will know about this before making payments

Product returns

Once products are delivered to you and accepted as accurate and as per the original order, there is no refund or exchange possible.

To return any items that are damaged or not as per your original order, please contact customer service within 48 hours from the time of delivery along with images of the delivered product and their tags.

All damaged items or items not as per your order that are to be returned must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt, a return / exchange authorization number and in unopened, saleable condition, otherwise the same will not taken back.

Postage and other charges for return of these products will not be refunded by us.

Product Usage 

This Smart QR Bag Tag is designed solely to help identify the luggage in case it gets misplaced.  The Product does not guarantee recovery of the bag and is only an aid for identification.  By using the Product, the Customer agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions. 

Registration & Activation 

  • The Customer is solely responsible for providing accurate information during registrationFailure to register the Product may render it non-functionalThe tag8 Smart QR Bag Tag comes with a validity period of 5 years from the date of activation. 

Finder Functionality 

  • The finder may use this information to attempt to contact the Customer and return the misplaced itemtag8 and VIP Industries Limited (“VIP”) have no control over, or liability for, the actions or intentions of the finder. 

Warranty 

The Product is warranted against manufacturing defects only, for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.  The warranty does not cover: 

  • Wear and tear, scratches, discoloration, or damage due to misuse

  • Tampering, modification, or unauthorized repairs 

Warranty claims, if any, will be limited to replacement of the defective tag at the sole discretion of tag8. 

Limitations of Liability 

The Product is an identification aid and does not ensure prevention of loss or theft.  tag8 and VIP are not liable for: 

  • Any loss, theft, or damage to the Customer’s belongings, even if the Product was attached 

  • Any expenses, damages, or claims arising from use or non-use of the Product 

  • Any failure of the Product due to factors beyond reasonable control (misuse, third-party action, acts of God, etc.) 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, tag8 and VIP have no liability for any loss, damage, claim, or expense connected to the Product or services. 

Disclaimer of Service Guarantee 

The Product facilitates voluntary assistance by finders but does not guarantee: 

  • That the finder will attempt to contact the Customer 

  • That the luggage will be recovered in whole or part 

The Customer uses the Product entirely at their own risk. 

Data Protection & Privacy 

The Product works on the basis of voluntary information sharing by the Customer. The Customer decides what personal details to input.  When a finder scans the QR code, the data entered by the Customer will be visible to the finder. tag8 and VIP have no control over how such data is viewed, used, or misused by any third party.  The Customer bears sole responsibility for the type and extent of personal information shared through the Product.  tag8 and VIP adopt reasonable technical safeguards; however, no system is fully secure, and tag8 and VIP expressly disclaim any responsibility for: 

  • Unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse of Customer data 

  • Any data breach, hack, or interception by third parties 

  • Any loss or damage suffered by the Customer due to the sharing of personal data via the Product 

By activating or using this Product, the Customer expressly acknowledges that data sharing is at their own risk, and tag8 and VIP have no liability for any misuse or unauthorized use of such data. 

Governing Law 

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.  Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India. 

Force Majeure  

Neither tag8 nor VIP shall be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond their reasonable control (including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, cyberattacks, etc.).

Program Overview

  • VIP Rewards Club is a tier-based loyalty program for VIP and associated brands.
  • Enrolled Customers earn reward points on all purchases at Company run retail stores.
  • Points can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases in Company run retail stores only as per the redemption rate.

Eligibility & Enrollment

  • Enrollment is automatic once bills are created in wondersoft using a valid mobile no.
  • One membership per mobile number.
  • Points are calculated on net bill value (after discounts and taxes).
  • 1 reward point is equal to ₹1 for redemption purposes.
  • Silver members earn 1 pt per ₹100, Gold members earn 2 pts per ₹100, Platinum members earn 4 pts per ₹100.
  • Add that points are non-encashable and non-transferable.
  • Certain products, promotions, or discounted items may be excluded from point earning at brand discretion.
  • Point accrual may vary for promotional periods or special categories at brand’s discretion.

Tier Structure and Bonus points

  • Tier status is based on cumulative annual spend in the program year (rolling 12 months).
    • Silver: ₹0 – ₹14,999
    • Gold: ₹15,000 – ₹24,999
    • Platinum: ₹25,000+
  • Tier upgrade bonuses are valid for 3 months from date of credit.
  • Silver member gets a ₹200 coupon, valid for 1 year, but redeemable only when shopping for ₹5000 or more, and only on luggage category.
  • Bonus reward points on Tier upgrade: 500 pts on upgrade to Gold, 1000 pts on upgrade to Platinum. Both are valid for 3 months (90 days).
  • If customer didn’t shop for 12 month rolling period, they get a tier downgrade (Platinum -> Gold, Gold -> Silver. No impact on silver tier).
